Course Description
In March 2020, teaching faculty were required to pivot to remote teaching when the pandemic began. However, this experience caused anxiety after many educators rushed into the discipline of online learning trying to help students complete the school year or semester successfully.
This course will explain how to design a learner-centered online class while using instructional technologies in ways that enhance the teaching and learning experience for everyone.

- How to promote a Community of Inquiry (COI) in an online or remote course
- Explore what instructional technologies can enhance communication and learning
- Design factors to keep in mind when creating an online or remote course
- What students (and parents) are looking for in your course
