Course Description

Bridgette Yaxley, a multi-award-winning screenwriter, and filmmaker. She teaches techniques for generating screenplay ideas, the drafting process, classical screenplay structure, how to write conflict and dialogue, considering scene, structure, and the art of characterization.
The course also reviews how to write visually, how to make the most from notes/feedback when revising, how to submit your screenplays to film festivals, how to apply to screenwriting fellowships, and how to protect your work through the WGA and the copywriting process.
